  • CHCT-Cable heating circle test system

    CHCT-Series cable heating cycle test system is for cable auto heavy current heating. It is composed of digital control measure cabinet and multiple heavy current generators, suitable for XLPE cable test. It automatically monitors (temperature preset) and records test data. It meets IEC standards. Heating 95~100oC (8 hours) and self-cool (6 hours), totally 20 cycles, and 5 cycles at least for one week, it means 5 days continuous test (5* 24 hours).

    Working principle

    The system uses temperature monitor to sample 12 points of temperature signal by temperature signal sensor, and the system automatically compare the signal with preset temperature of monitor in order to decide whether to continue heating or not. Thus cable heating can be controlled and accuracy can achieve ±1℃ . The load system is equipped with several high-current generators. Users can arbitrary choose the high-current generator quantity according to the cable cross section.
